This article aims to show you how to convert specific page PDF to text/TXT through e-PDF to Text Converter.
Here are steps to use this GUI software to convert specific page PDF file to text/TXT file in Windows systems below:
First, install e-PDF to Text Converter in your computer
To install this software in your computer, please download installer through following icon, then double-click this installer and follow setup wizard step by step, and finally, this application could be installed successfully.
Then, in the next operation, e-PDF to Text Converter could be used directly.
Second, add original PDF files and set specific page for conversion
After you install this software successfully and run it in your computer, its GUI interface could be opened on screen, where you should add PDF files for conversion with this way:
Click Add File(s) > select PDF files in pop dialog box > click open, then PDF files could be added into conversion automatically and they can display as shown in following screen snapshot.
Or you can click File > select Add Files on pop list > select PDF files > click open. To add all of PDF files in one folder, please add them with this way:
Click File > select Add directory > select one folder > click Ok in pop dialog box, and at last, all PDF files could be added successfully one time.
Then, please click Setting on GUI interface in order to edit specific page of PDF files for conversion:
Click Setting on GUI interface, then you can get a panel named e-PDF to Text Converter. On this panel, to set specific pages of PDF files, please click tab Base Setting, then its own panel could be shown to you directly, where you need to click radio Selected Pages > type page number of specific page of PDF files, for instance, 5, etc., in edit boxes From and To. And what we mentioned above is to help you convert one page of PDF files from specific page, and to set specified pages for conversion from PDF file to text file, please type distinct page number in related edit boxes, e.g., 4 and 9, which means software will convert pages from 4 to 9 in PDF files to text files one time, etc.. Here, to select targeting folder, please click tab Save Text Mode > click one of radios there, e.g., Save to original directories with corresponding filename, etc., and it is end to edit targeting folder here. Here is example snapshot below:
After setting is done correctly, please click OK on this panel so that your setting could be saved by program and meanwhile, program takes you back to GUI interface.
Third, convert PDF files to text files
When you go back to GUI interface again, it’s time to click Convert PDFs there so that e-PDF to Text Converter can convert specific page PDF file to text file automatically.
